When you work for yourself like I do, holidays give you mixed feelings. The good thing is that you get a much needed break. I teach every day from early in the morning when I am at Ecom, to 8 or even 9 o’clock doing classes at Yamaha or Suzuki. On the weekends I often do weddings. Having a few days to sleep in and relax is nice.

　But of course, whenever I have a day off I don’t get paid! It only happens a few times a year, so it doesn’t make me too poor.

　This year we mostly stayed in Hamamatsu, going to the movies at the new cinema in Hamakita, or relaxing at home. On one day we went to DisneySea which was very enjoyable. The holidays were good mix of being busy and doing nothing.
